Large crowds were present at the Mt. Lavinia Siddhalepa premises on May 17,18 & 19 to witness the Siddhalepa mammoth Pahan Kooduwa erected in honour of Sambuddatva Jayanthi - 2600. A gram Dansala was also organized for the devotees.
Venerable Badarawela Amithananda Thero preached an eloquent Buddhist sermon on May 20 listened to by thousands of devotees dressed in white, who thronged Mt. Lavinia.

To mark the oil anointing rituals, Siddhalpea Ayurveda Hospital organized a ceremony to anoint the members of the public living in Mt. Lavinia and the surroundings on the 16th of April exemplifying how oil anointing was conducted traditionally. Medical Superintendent and Director of Siddhalepa Ayurveda Hospital Dr. Tudor Senadheera anointed a large number of people who had gathered at the scene of the ceremony. Everyone who visited the traditionally decorated Siddhalepa reception hut in the centre of Mt. Lavinia received a Siddhalepa gift pack and partook of sweet meats which form the menu of Avurudu Festival.

Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort joined hands with the international community to mark the "Worlds Earth Hour" on the 31st March. The large numbers who attended the free medical clinic at siddhalepa hospital were served Lakpeyava, the popular herbal medicinal drink manufactured by Siddhalepa.

In Anuradhapura visited by several thousands of Poson pilgrims, garbage bins were placed at the Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanweliseya and the Atamasthana with the aim of promoting environmentally friendly habits. This gesture received the praises of the pilgrims. A Lakpeyava dansela was also held in the proximity of Ruwanweliseya.

In the Hakmana National Poson Zone, Lakpeyava Dansela was held while the Siddhalepa advance vehicle travelled along the route of the perahera.

In addition to the above, the Siddhalepa presence was felt at different temples across the country with Siddhalepa boards carrying moral messages and garbage bins placed liberally.
